Adtran - Atlas Multiplexors

ATLAS, the ADTRAN Total Access System, is a modular, highly scalable platform that provides robust solutions for the wide area communication needs of medium to large corporations and network access providers. ATLAS is an Integrated Access System with the most extensive support of dedicated bandwidth management and access switching in the industry. Consolidate your voice, data, and video applications into a single platform while optimizing wide area bandwidth and reducing equipment costs. ATLAS’ scalable architecture supports T1 rates and eight expansion slots allow for a variety of option modules, making it one of the most versatile access systems on the market.

The TSU 120 is a T1-FT1 multiplexor designed to allow the user to increase the number and types of ports available. Includes an integral DSX-1 PBX interface and an Nx56/64 DTE serial interface slot that accepts optional modules to provide up to four additional interface ports. The optional interfaces support additional Nx56/64 ports, voice T1 Drop & Insert, voice circuits, OCU-DP PBX, and several others. The bandwidth allocated to each port is user programmable. Two DSO maps can be stored with provisions to switch between them at predetermined times.

The TSU 600 is a 6-slot T1 Access Multiplexer designed for demanding T1 data and voice applications. Since each expansion slot accommodates modules with up to 4 interfaces, the TSU 600 can be populated with up to 24 ports. The amount of bandwidth utilized by each interface is user programmable. It provides a seamless path for expansion of the user’s applications.
