LANCAST’s 7000 series represents the next generation of "the twister" media conversion technology. The 7000 series supports both 10 and 100 Mbps media of different types in one cost effective 12, 16 or 17-slot rackmount unit. The 7000 series reliably transmits Fast Ethernet data up to 2km over multimode and beyond 40km over singlemode fiber optic cable.
